My journey with catering business dates back to early 1990’s during my college days, I started running a canteen at the Swimming pool in Annasaheb Magar Stadium. My first lessons in the art of cooking came from my mother, who is a master at culinary skills. I had a small unit that served wada pav, tea, coffee and other bakery items. I gradually started taking orders for sports and music events held at Annasaheb Magar stadium. It was in the late 1993’s that I realized that what I had been doing is called “Catering”.

In 1999, I turned my passion for good food and part-time association with catering into a career choice. I started operating my catering services from home and began to cater to the industries in MIDC. Rojitasha Automotive Stampings was our first industrial client for which we supplied 7 plates of breakfast/day and after years of effort reached a milestone of 1000 plates/day. During the same period, we also started tiffin services to employees in industries. Our years of hardwork and dedication paid-off and we got an opportunity to provide our catering services to reputed organizations like Wonder Cars Pvt Ltd, Panse Autocomps, Sharayu Toyota, Gange group of industries, Sona BLW Precision and others.

In 2003, my friend Mangesh Kulkarni insisted on taking the catering order for his house warming ceremony and thus opened our outdoor catering services wing. We have been catering to orders ranging from 25 to 1500 and have served organizations like LIC of India, NIA, PCMC Employees Federation, Employment exchange amongst others. We have successfully handled catering for numerous social functions like Birthday parties, thread ceremony, wedding ceremony, reception, get togethers and corporate events. We also serve 150-200 mess members at our Yashwantnagar canteen on daily basis.
